The Knights of Columbus would like to recognize the Torres family for Family of the Month.
Both Pablo and Nancy are originally from Columbia and joined our parish in 2020. They raised two beautiful children, Anna Marie and Nicholas at our parish where they were both altar servers. Additionally, Anna Marie attended All Saints School. Both have Masters degrees from Florida State University (Speech Pathology) and University of Florida (Business) respectively. Nicholas, known as Nick "Dy-Verse" is recorder and producer of music. His music has followed his Faith as a Catholic man. His song and music video "Its OK" (click below to hear) has received international recognition as the number one hit in Italy, and is part of a mission to bring troubled youths to Christianity through hip hop and entertainment.
Nancy brought her skills in medical technology to this country. She directs many of her talents now to religious base jewelry like rosaries, bracelets and necklaces inspired by saints with 10% of her sales being donated to Fr Jean for Hope Leogane. You can also find her rosaries in the gift shop. Pablo has been a great asset to St Peter as a eucharistic minister for over 15 years and currently is employed as a contractor for FPL.
