Note: Minutes of our Business Meetings are posted on the Council website for all members of the council for review and comment. The minutes will not be read at the next regular meeting unless requested by a member. Please direct all corrections and additions to Jim Hildebrand jrpah@comcast.net

  • Pre - Meeting.

  • Officers Roll Call

    • All Officers were present except for the Warden. The Deputy Grand Knight and Chancellor positions are open.

  • Chaplain Report -

    • The meeting was opened and closed with a prayer.

  • Guests and Dignitaries

    • The District Deputy Richard Gallant and Field Agent Jonathan Knaus were present

  • Grand Knight Report:

    • Correspondence:

    • Report:

      • We welcomed new member Kieth Dunn who has transferred into the council.

      • The GK:

        • thanked those that attended Mike Gallaghers viewing and funeral.

        • congratulated the council on our participation in the JTAA Parade.

        • indicted the Dec breakfast served the purpose of fostering fellowship.

        • thanked Brother Colon for reinstating the Rosary program.

        • thanked those that helped out with grounds maintenance recently at Hannah’s house.

      • Brother Hildebrand reported that the website domain has been transferred to him, he is working on gaining ownership of the website.

      • STAR Council Status was reviewed:

        • The Faith in Action program states we need a minimum of four “points” in each Pillar to obtain star (along with meeting membership and insurance requirements). A group of Supreme designated activities are awarded 2 stars, other activities are awarded 1 star (this requirement was clarified by the DD). There were questions on which of our activates counted (such as Brother Ehmer’s leadership of the Mens Group), the DD indicate activities headed-up or participated in by Knights can count. Various activities in each pillar were reviewed and will be updated in a log maintained by the GK.

        • There is a parish Men’s retreat at Our Lady of Florida in February. Javier Casanova is the contact for more info.

        • Rosary Initiative -

        • Deacon Serge is considering entering the seminar to become a Priest. He would be a good candidate for the program.

      • Family (Joe McGivney)

        • We are working to clear a backlog of Family and Knight of the Year Awards.

        • “Family of the Month” - Hispanic Ministry - December, Mike and Tiffany Maglio - January

        • “Knight of the Month” - Mark Ehmer for his dedicated work during COVID 19 -

        • Throw Competition- All Saints is not participating in the Free Throw Competition this year due to Covid 19.

  • Fund Raising -

    • Roger Dean Stadium - Brothers Davisson and McReynolds will pick dates for the council to work.

    • Jupiter Jubilee - Brother Cesarano reports it is still on the City’s schedule for Feb. 5

  • 4th Degree Report -

  • District Deputy Report -

    • There will be a prayer vigil for the repel of “Roe vs Wade” at Miracle House on 45th Street at 9:30 Sat 1/22. There will also be a march to the women’s center.

    • There will be a Regional Meeting Feb 5th in Stewart. The GK, DGK, and Financial Secretary are asked to attend.

    • The DD clarified that activates such as participation n the Miracle House Prayer Vigil, reciting the Rosary before mass count towards achieving STAR Council.

  • Field Agent Report-

    • The Knights live out the gospels. We live out Jesus’s command to the Disciples “You give them food” at the multiplication of loafs, and “follow me and I will make you fishers of men” as we recruit more men into the Knights.

  • New Business - .

  • Motions-

    • Brother McGivney moved we donate $300 to the Hispanic Ministry in because of the work they did on the Christmas Nativity. Seconded by Patrick Mcelhaney. Motion tabled until next meeting for further discussion.
