In an effort to attract more, younger, faith-filled Catholic men at a time when the Church needs them the most, the Knights of Columbus is changing with the times.
The Supreme Council has introduced a new degree which will allow candidates to reach full Knighthood in a single ceremony. The new degree, currently called the Exemplification of Charity, Unity and Fraternity was introduced by Supreme Knight, Carl Anderson.
The announcement also eliminates the need for secrecy. In fact, the new degree includes plans for inviting family and friends to the degree.
