The Villella Family
The Knights of Columbus Council 13139 is proud to announce that the Villella
Family is being honored at St. Peter as The Family of the Month. Mike and
Carol have been cornerstones of our St. Peter Parish community since its
founding. The journey began in 1987 when the Villella’s and several other
families began meeting at the Jupiter Middle School cafeteria. In 1992 they
were integral in opening The Parish Center Hall at the current location of St.
Peter. In 2003, with much dedication and faith, the main church was
completed as we know it today.

Both Mike and Carol were born and raised in the Providence, Rhode
Island area, and they first met at Bryant University in Smithfield, RI. In 1982,
they moved to Palm Beach County. Their two children, Alexandra and
Christina, were born and raised in faith at St. Peter, and have
received all their Sacraments in our Parish. Both Alexandra and Christina
now both live in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina.
Mike, now retired, has primarily worked as a CPA starting his career at the
West Palm Beach office of Ernst & Young and ending his career as the CFO
for the Town of Jupiter. Mike’s last assignments at the Town were as the
project manager for the recently completed police station and town hall
buildings. Many of you will also know that Carol ran the Women’s Bible Study
and our EDGE program for over 20 years at St. Peter. Today, both Carol and
Mike are extremely active in the Church servings as Eucharistic Minsters at
mass and Mike delivers the Holy Eucharist to patients at Jupiter Medical
Center. Mike has also been a Knight of Columbus for over 30 years. When
they are not busy helping others in our community, Mike and Carol enjoy
spending time with their children and grandchildren in NC along with touring
the country in their RV.

Let’s extend special thanks and prayers to the entire Villella Family for being a
foundational inspiration of hard work and faith to the entire St. Peter Parish
community.
