The Donaldson Family
The Knights of Columbus Council 13139 is proud to announce that the Donaldson
Family is being honored at St. Peter as our Family of the Month. George and Mary Beth
have been longstanding members of our Parish since 1993.
Originally hailing from Massachusetts, George was raised in Upstate New York and retired just last year after a long career in international logistics. George and Mary Beth are the proud parents of a daughter and twin sons. Their daughter lives in Gainesville and she and her husband both work at the University of Florida and are blessed to have three children who are often visited by George and Mary Beth. One of the Donaldson sons has recently
become engaged and currently lives in Hoboken, New Jersey and works in Manhattan
as an executive at Cisco Systems. Their other son lives in the Pacific Heights
neighborhood of San Francisco where he lives with his wife on one year. He is working
for a private equity firm and she is a teacher at a local school.
George is a familiar face around St. Peter, where he has volunteered over the years for
Food for Families, the Hospital Ministry, and has been both and Altar Server and
Eucharistic Minister. In addition, George frequently attends the Men’s Breakfast, which
is held weekly in the Parish Hall at 6:30 am for all interested male parishioners. George
is also in the process of joining our Knights of Columbus Council, and we are all thrilled
that he is joining our Brotherhood at St. Peter.
Mary Beth has also Ministered at Food For Families and is deeply rooted in working
with Hands Together For Haitians, which is focused on supporting education, health and
development projects in Haiti. Mary Beth has visited Haiti multiple times and has plans
to do so again in the future.
We wish the entire Donaldson Family continued health and happiness, and we all
extend our gratitude to George and Mary Beth for their tireless service.
