Wheelchair Drive

The Knights of Columbus has partnered with the American Wheelchair Mission since 2003 and the Canadian Wheelchair Foundation since 2006, through the Global Wheelchair Mission. This effort provides life-changing mobility to people in our communities and around the world. From presenting wheelchairs to local veterans and neighbors in need to supporting those abroad, each gift of mobility brings independence and dignity. Working with the Global Wheelchair Mission allows councils to put their faith into action while engaging the entire community in meaningful charitable work.

Pictured below was our wheelchair campaign where Knight Jeff Kotansky committed to walk as a caddy for 500 miles over a period of 40 days for the benefit of our wheelchair campaign.  His efforts were recognized by the State of Florida as we generated over $25,000 that purchased over 170 wheelchairs.
