Support Vocations (RSVP)
This past 2 fraternal years, the Council supported two seminarians, Jude Okeke and Serge Dube.
Most recently the diaconate ordination Mass for the Diocese of Palm Beach was held at St. Joan of Arc Church, 370 S.W. Third St. in Boca Raton.
At the liturgy, Jude Okeke was ordained a transitional deacon with seven other students from St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary as they move toward priestly ordination.​
Seminarian: Deacon Jedediah Preble
This year we are proud to be supporting Deacon Jedediah Preble. He is the 5th of 6 siblings (Father from Virginia and mother Argentinian). He has always been attracted to the liturgy and the priesthood with roots back in Silver Springs, MD. As an adolescent he lived in Argentina. He finished high school in Salt Lake City, then received a bachelor's at University of Dallas in philosophy. He entered the seminary at the Archdiocese of Dallas. With his parents in Delray/Boca Raton area, he has many personal ties to the Diocese of Palm Beach and decided to transfer to the Diocese of Palm Beach and I enrolled in the St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary in Boynton Beach. He was ordained to the diaconate at St. Joan of Arc and his ordination will be sometime in 2026.
