The St Peter Knights of Columbus would like to recognize the McDonald family for Family of the Month. Trevor and Trish, along with their 2 daughters have been a part of our parish for over 14 years. But their journey to us is like none other. Born and raised in South Africa, they came to the US in the early 90’s based on a 2 year consulting assignment starting in Salt Lake City. You can only imagine what it was like for two Catholic raised young adults coming to the US and experiencing life in a Mormon community. But that is where they began their family of two daughters.
Before Jupiter, were stops in frigid Minnesota and hot, dusty Dallas. A career opportunity brought them to Jupiter, and after meeting Fr Don in our prayer garden, along with the All Saint’s school compliment, the deal was done and they joined St Peter.
Their time with us has been spent teaching catechism, Sunday morning rosary, running the AV equipment and being a major contributor to our Knights of Columbus ministry. Wherever there is a need, they seem more than ready to lend a hand.
