Officers Meeting

Note: Minutes of our Officers Meetings are supplied to all Officers for review and comment. They are then posted on the Council Website. The minutes will not be read at the next Officers meeting unless requested by an Officer. Please direct all corrections and additions to Jim Hildebrand jrpah@comcast.net

Recorders Note: This was a “stay at home’ meeting conducted over ZOOM. Due to the untimely death for our Grand Knight, the meeting was Hosted by Brother McReynolds and Chaired by Brother Davisson. The meeting minutes were taken by Jim Hildebrand. Those in attendance were Brothers: Michael McReynolds, Paul Davisson, Terry Hood, Patrick McElhaney, Philip Colon, Mike Cesarano, Ken Kotansky, Larry McKay, John Claudio, and Trevor Mc Donald.

  • Pre - Meeting.

  • Officers Roll Call

    • All Officers were present except for the Chaplain, Chancellor, Recorder, and Warden. The Grand Knight, Deputy Grand Knight and 1st Year Trustee positions are open.

  • Chaplain Report -

    • The meeting was opened and closed with a prayer.

  • Guests and Dignitaries

    • None

  • Grand Knight Report:

    • Correspondence:

      • No significant correspondence.

    • Report (Brother Davisson):

      • Brother Bielski has performed some needed work at Hannah’s house. Some addition help is needed to work on fans and lights.

      • Special Election:

      • We will hold a Special election during the February Business meeting to elected a Grand Knight to replace Brother Mikosz. The positions of DGK and 1st Year Trustee are also open if anyone would like to run for those positions.

      • Brother Ken Kotansky has indicated that he will run for the position of GK.

        • Brother Ken has been a Knight for about a year. He is retired and has a sales and accounting background. His wife helps put at Hannah’s house and they both have signed on as ushers. Ken is looking for an opportunity to get more involved volunteer work.

        • Ken is a snowbird, but it is felt that council activity is slow during the summer, and business matters can be handled remotely.

        • The Officers fell that Brother Kotansky would make a good Grand Knight.

  • Financial Secretary Report:

    • Trustees - The 6 month Audit is complete and needs sign-off.

        • Brother McReynolds has not heard anything from the stadium. He does not know if we will be able to work there this year in some reduce capacity.

    • Brother Davisson suggested, and Brother McElhaney moved that the Council donate to the Parish to have two Masses said for Brother Mikosz. Brother Cesarano seconded. Passed
