This month the Knights are recognizing the McElhaney’s for Family of the Month. The McElhaney’s have been a part of St Peter for well over 18 years.
Originally from Ohio, Patrick met his bride Roxanne, while working in St. Louis. Roxanne, being a Show-Me-State native was working in the medical industry. By chance they met in a church basement as part of a Catholic based meeting for single people to find their lifelong loves. It obviously worked for them both.
Work ultimately brought them to Jupiter, where they discovered and join St Peter. Just recently retired from FPL, Patrick used his Master of Business Administration from St Louis University in a career that included Business Development, Product Management and Product Development. Roxanne, on the other hand, left her medical profession to raise their 3 wonderful children, who all have advanced degrees and blossoming careers in the healthcare industry. To say the least, Roxanne, was a great inspiration to them.
Patrick has been a St Peter Knight for over 15 years and has been active on the leadership of the council for many years. Additionally, he is an avid guitarist and can be seen performing professionally on the weekends at local hot spots around Jupiter. He is also a volunteer for the Law Enforcement Assistance Foundation (LEAF) fundraiser, which provides support for the families of officers lost or injured in the line of duty.
Roxanne is an avid quilter and teaches a variety of skill classes at a local quilting store in Palm Beach Gardens. She is an amazing, creative, and caring person, and goes the extra mile to listen and support others.
We are delighted they chose St Peter as their spiritual home.
