Business (General) Meeting
May 18, 2021

Officers Roll Call
All Officers were present except for the Chaplin. The Deputy Grand Knight, Chancellor, 1st year Trustee and Recorder positions are open.

The GK indicated that in his 90 days of Office he has found the council has a solid foundation, an hopes with the new year we can work on increasing the councils energy.

No motions were passed at the Officers Meeting

The council sold 640 Florida State Raffle Tickets.

Trustees -
The Trustees have been asked to prepare a “Recommended list of Officers” for the next fraternal year. All current officers indicated they are willing to serve again next year. Brother Hildebrand indicted he is willing to serve as Recorder. It was agreed that Brother Cesarano should serve as the 3rd year Trustee instead of the Inside Guard.

Mike Franklin and family was voted “Family of the Month” (see motions). The award will be presented at the 9:30 Mass on Sunday.

Tootsie Roll Drive -
This year’s Tootsie Roll drive will start at the Farm’s Publix on the weekend of June 5th and 6th. The GK has coordinated with the store manager, and will follow-up with an e-mail. Brother McReynolds will obtain proof of insurance. Brothers Mcelhaney and McDonald will co-chair the drive. We will use the spread sheet that Brother Manz developed last year to sigh-up volunteers. An organizational meeting is being considered for next Monday.

The GK would like to gain 25 new members next year, and believes approaching existing ministries and organizations would help the recruitment effort.

Three council members attended the last insurance information night. We will get credit toward recruitment goals for the event.
May is disability income awareness month.
The FA has passed the series 65 qualifications, and can now offer Mutual Funds to members.
