Officers Meeting

May 12, 2020

Note: Minutes of our meetings are supplied to all members of the council for review and comment. The minutes will not be read at the next meeting unless requested by a member. Pls direct all corrections and additions to Jim Hildebrand

Roll Call - The meeting was conducted virtually using ZOOM. All Officers were present except for the Chaplain who was excused, and the Warden, Inside Guard, Outside Guard, and 1st Year Trustee who were absent.

  • Chaplain Report: The meeting was opened and closed the meeting with a prayer.

  • Grand Knight Report:

  • Guests - The District Deputy and Regional Representative attended the meeting.

  • Correspondance

  • Council Business

  • The Deputy GK reported that “Survey Monkey” can be used to conduct the Council election remotely. A trial run was conducted and was successful.

  • Father Don has approved conducting a service to commemorate the Silver Rose Icon when it is here. The service will be bilingual. Posters and booklets will be available. The Icon will be in our area in late June.

  • The GK thanked those that have helped out at Hannah’s House over the last few weeks.

  • Income - $1955 (Including $1850 in donations to FFF and the St VdePaul society.

  • The Council has placed recruitment messages in the Spanish versions of the Parish Bulletin

  • The GK would like to have an exemplification on May 20th.

  • The council is in great shape on awards this year. We have meet out insurance and new member goals, and are eligible for the Columbian award. We will submit the forms after the council approves our outstanding motion for a FFF donations. We anticipate becoming a double Star council this year.
