This Knight recently retired as a Department of Defense Contractor in Arlington, Virginia. He joined the Council when he retired to Jupiter. He has only been a Knight since January, but has already assisted with the trimming of the hedges at Hannah’s Home in Tequesta and has joined our Council Rosary Initiative, and has completed his training to work at the concession stand at Roger Dean Stadium.
He was a parishioner at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Alexandria, where he was an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion; serving at Mass and taking Holy Communion to patients at Alexandria Hospital. He plans to continue to participate in the ministry here at Saint Peter.
While at Blessed Sacrament, he was also a member of the That Man is You!, a men’s ministry affiliated with Paradisus Dei. TMIY! honestly addresses the pressures and temptations that men face in our modern culture, especially those relating to their roles as husbands and fathers.
He is an avid viewer of Mother Angelica’s Eternal Word Television Network and considers it a blessing to be able to attend daily Mass and pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet and Rosary with his St. Peter brethren.
He likes to quote Monsignor Pope of Washington, DC, “I am not yet who I want to be but better than I use to be”.
For his contributions to the community and the Knights of Columbus, the Council recognizes Larry Mondorff as its Knight of the Month for February.
Congratulations, Larry!
