Business (General) Meeting
October 15, 2019

Pre - Meeting.
Officers Roll Call
All Officers were present except for the Chancellor, and Outside Guard who were excused, and the 1st and 2nd Year Trustees who were absent.
Chaplain Report -
The meeting was opened and closed with a prayer

We received “Thank You” letters from “ELS for Autism” and ARC for our Tootsie Roll donations.
We received a “Thank You” note from Deacon Serge for the Mass Card we sent for his wife JoAnn.
Discussion
Officers Meeting Report
Motions were passed at the Officers meeting to:
procure a $200 gift card for use as a Raffle Prize during the Delta Membership Drive.
donate $400 dollars to Hannah’s House.

Deputy Grand Knight and Director Reports:

We will conduct the “Miracle House” Baby Bottle Drive on the weekend of 11/9&10. Knights will be needed to hand out the bottles after mass. Knights will also be needed to collect the bottles for the two following weekends.
We are now using our Informational Kiosk at events such as the Fellowship Breakfast. The “Prayer” booklet seem to be particularly popular.
We have tried to reach Habitat for Humanity concerning new building starts for the Fall in West Palm Beach area, but they have not returned our calls.
“Messages of Encouragement” have been drafted for the Sacramental Gifts program. Finalized messages will be printed and signed by members then distributed to those undergoing religious formation programs. .
Father D has asked the Council to take the lead on the “40 Days for Life” program. We are currently supplying content for the Parish Bulletin.
The parish has asked that we help put up the “Singing Christmas Tree” this year.
We are considering our support of the Lady of Guadeloupe celebration on 12/12. The Color Corp is not available, so council members may participate wearing baldrics.

“Delta Drive” - Scheduled for 12/7&8. Knights will be the featured article in the December Parish Magazine. The week before we will be the Ministry Moment video. The week of the drive, a Knights recruiting film will be the pre-mass video.

Only one new member has been recruited since the beginning of the Fraternal year in the DD’s 4 council area.
The DD has initiated a recruitment competition between his four councils with 4 Invicta watches as prizes.
Field Agent Report -
Supreme has a new website that is up and running.
If the council does two informational nights during the fraternal year, the quota for recruiting insured members is waived.

Brother Placko indicated that he is starting to plan for the February BBQ. He needs to know what charity we plan to support so ticket can be ordered. It was moved that we discuss the issue at the next Officers meeting.
Motions - Brother Cesarano moved, and Brother Placko seconded a motion to approve the proposed Council budget for the fraternal year. Passed
