This Family of the Month is a couple that are long term parishioners of St. Peter Catholic Church. They both serve as co-captains of the usher team for the 4:30 p.m. Mass on Saturdays. He is a Third Degree knight and has been a member of our order since February of 2001. He is a regular volunteer at our monthly Family Fellowship Breakfast and helps with the setup of the hall and the serving line.
They are both avid golfers and get out as often as they can. Golf occupied his professional career as well, as he worked as a Comptroller for a local golf course. He has recently retired.
The couple has shown their dedication to each other and will be celebrating their 64th wedding anniversary. For their inspiration and dedication, we honor Donald and Barbara Shelton as our Family of the Month for August!
