Our council has a long history of supporting the Parish St. Vincent de Paul Society.
We continued that support during our June Business Meeting by presenting a check for $2500 to Norma Reyes-Gallagher, the chairperson for the Parish chapter of the society.
Norma thanked us for our continued support, and said that our contributions help local people in need make rent payments, get car repairs, pay utility bills, and many other things that they just couldn't do without the societies help.
