This family lives out a mission that reflects the principles of the Knights of Columbus. Their family motto is “Your life is a gift from God. What you do with your life is your gift to Him.” These are not just words to them, but how they live out their faith. They are grateful that God has given them so much and deliberately give back to him.
Pat and Gisele have been married for 25 years. They have three children: Dominic, Gianna and Anthony, who all graduated from All Saints Catholic School. They served as Altar servers and were active in the parish’s LifeTeen program and volunteered on mission trips to Orlando for Habitat for Humanity and First Harvest Food Bank. Dominic is a junior studying cybersecurity/ cryptography at the University of North Florida. Gianna is a sophomore at Florida State University majoring in biochemistry. And, Anthony is a senior in the Information Technology program at Jupiter High School.
Pat serves on the Welcome committee and Giselle is a catechist for Confirmation 1 and 2. Gisele and Pat have been helping with the parish’s Christmas Giving Tree ministry for 10 years. Christmas 2018 marks the sixth year that they have served as the leaders of this ministry. Their children help with this huge annual effort to ensure that children, who would otherwise go without, receive Christmas gifts.
For their significant contributions to the parish and the community it serves, the Council recognizes Pat, Gisele, Dominic, Gianna, and Anthony… the Matarese family.
